Our Delicious Story

We are a small, local business with simple core values... we appreciate quality food, great customer services, and the value of a dollar.

We work with our clients to plan meals for their event, making it hassle free and as simple as posiible so they may focus on and enjoy the event themselves.

We start by asking 3 simple questions:

1. How many guests for the event?

2. What type of food are you craving?

3. What is your budget?

We then put together serveral different menu options within the given guidelines and refine it as needed to create a quality homemade meal for your event.

I would highly recommend Casey J’s Catering. I have used them on several occasions, including two weddings, and a 40th anniversary party. Jeff is a professional, very easy to communicate with, and delivers what he promised. The food was delicious, presentation was perfect, and he and his staff are very attentive and friendly.

Casey J’s Catering never disappoints! They have met our every need with incredible flexibility, service, value, and quality. From our large events of 30-100 players, to individually boxed daily lunches of 5-15 players, they always deliver. Professional, prompt, and service driven. Casey J’s has our repeat business, and they should have yours too.

We have used Casey J’s Catering for a couple of recent events, most recently a 60th birthday. In addition to great food (guests have raved!) we really appreciate Jeff’s regular, timely and clear communication. He also has good menu suggestions when we get stuck. Once we decide, Jeff really delivers! We look forward to our next gig working with Casey J’s.

Jeff has catered multiple events for me including my bridal shower and wedding. When I say his food is amazing, I’m not kidding. I can’t tell you any other time I’ve had food that was actually GOOD at a wedding other than my own. Everything was prepared perfectly. I received compliments about the food for months after the wedding and everybody was raving about it! Jeff is super easy to work with and very professional. He has a true talent for making delicious food that will really wow you. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

Frequently Asked Questions.

The smallest event that we have catered to was a 2 person in home, romantic dinner. The largest was a wedding with a final headcount of 243 people. We also have extensive experience with large events such as football games, concerts, and fairs.

While we don’t really “specialize” in any one type of menu item, I would say we do a great job of providing a quality homestyle meal. We do a lot of BBQ style meals during the summer months, but are happy to create a meal that works for you.

Product prices, like most things these days, are always in flux. You work hard for your money, so I want to get you the best price I can. I try to offer options that work within your budget, not just mine. If you tell me you want an “X” meal for “X” amount of people with an “X” budget, that may or may not be doable. But I will come up with alternate solutions that are close to or just as good at your budget. If you don’t know what your budget is but have an idea what kind of food you like, I can give several meal options and what it would cost for each. You can then get an idea if you need to increase your budget, change your menu ideas, or hopefully, have the ability to put the money I save you towards something else!!!

Casey Jane is gluten free, so I have come up with many gluten free options. My experience with Vegan is a bit more limited, but I have prepared several options in the past that were a hit. I can, in most cases, prepare recipes of items that you provide to me.

Some people prefer organic products, while some others are limited by their budget. I will use whatever is requested, with the clients understanding that organic products tend to be more expensive. And I always use the best and highest quality products that your budget allows.

I have in the past and continue to offer the service, but usually try to steer people to other options. Table service requires extra staff which in turn leads to extra costs. With a large event, this can add up rather quickly.

I do travel and have done events in Corvallis, Harrisburg, and Brownsville. I have a small fee per mile outside of my home range (10 miles), but am happy to work with people and their budget.

Yes. No. And maybe, but never hidden. Yes, I do charge a deposit on large events. This is to hold the date and purchase supplies as available (sometimes I am able to get a great deal on a product well before an event, saving money). No, I do not include a “mandatory” gratuity. I believe a gratuity or “tip” is paid for great service. I leave that up to the customer to tell me how our service was (all tips are spread evenly amongst the entire staff working the event). Sometimes there are fees that we don’t know about. Usually if its is passed on to me, I pass it onto the client (many event sites now charge a catering fee of 5%-10% of the bill that they charge the caterer, not the client). I always let the client know and try to remind them to check when booking a location.

No. I do have an OLCC license, but prefer not to serve alcohol at events. I have people and companies I can recommend to assist you in that area, as well as DJ’s, florists, and others.
